Where do I get my karaoke tracks?

People keep emailing me asking where I get all my karaoke tracks from. Well, here's the scoop…

Nearly every track I have bought has been from SBI Karaoke. They have by far the largest catalogue of titles that I've found and have some tracks that you wouldn't expect to find as karaoke since they don't even have any real words! It's the very best place to go to find most titles.

Great pricing too with no minimum order – just get 1 track if you want! I buy all my tracks in MP3+G format, but they also do cdg and dvd.

Suffering from tonsillitis

As a singer, I've been pretty lucky so far when it comes to being ill. At worst I might get a migraine which makes recording or performing live somewhat of a nightmare. Any sore throats I've had haven't really affected my work too much.

But today I'm suffering from a nasty bout of tonsillitis and can't get anything done! I can still sing, but only for short periods of time. The main problem is that I feel so rough and have a headache along with it. So I've spent most of the day in bed with a huge pile of work nagging at me to get it done. Well, it doesn't look like it's gonna happen! Hopefully more sleep, lots of water and some pain killers might make tomorrow slightly more tolerable.

So what be happening?

Hey all, well things have been way too busy for me to blog recently (I'm even doing this while eating lunch!). In the last few months we've moved (again) and been to Disneyland Paris, pictures of which are on my Flickr account now. Going to try to get as much stuff out of the way as possible so I can hopefully sit in the sun and blog in the near future!

That's all for today – currently doing a cover version of a song by The Wombats – The Wombats - A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation

Jesta on iTunes

I recently dug out an old internet-only single that I made in 1997. A little tweaking of the mix and it's now available to purchase on the iTunes music store.

The two songs may be a bit different in style than your “average” Jesta tunes but they're interesting as they were recorded at a time when I was still learning a lot about studio techniques. The songs themselves aren't great as I spent hardly any time writing them, but I think they stand up quite well.

You can get them from iTunes now at:
